This Easter, Share the Story That Matters Most

It was Paul who wrote,

“For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers and sisters at one time; most of them are still alive, but some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one born at the wrong time, he also appeared to me.” (1 Corinthians 15:3–8, CSB)

Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith. Because of His death, burial, and resurrection, it’s vital that we pause and reflect on all He has done for us. We need to take the time to recognize that, through the resurrection, Jesus conquered death for all who place their faith in Him. That’s why we celebrate—because Jesus has won the victory over death and offers us new life in Him.

But let’s be honest: between the egg hunts, candy overload, and all the cute bunny distractions, it’s not always easy to keep our kids (and grandkids!) focused on what really matters. That’s why I’m so thankful for resources like Minno’s Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids Easter Special—because this Easter, I don’t want my grandkids to just hear the story of Jesus... I want them to know it, to grasp it, and to carry it with them.

Family Review...

So, let's just begin with my grandkid's review of the movie from the oldest to the youngest.

Judah: 12-year-old.

He's the only one to actually write out his review.

"Very Cute show. Funny yet direct. I would recommend it for kids 6 and under."

After we discussed his review, he added that he thought the kids would like the animation and the humor.

Eli: 9-year-old...he'll be 10 in July.

"It was great! I liked the miracles."

Abby: 5-year-old.

"It was awesome! My favorite part is the guy who actually tells the story"

Daniel: 1-year-old.

Well...he didn't actually say
anything. He is a man of few words. But a picture is worth a thousand words, is it not?

Here, we see him stuffing the puffed popcorn in his mouth while watching the movie. The boy loves his popcorn! I'm thinking the eyes say it all. Yep, he loved the movie too!

When not busy eating, he had to get right up to the TV to take it all in.

My Review...

Watching Minno’s Laugh and Grow Bible Easter Special with my grandkids was more than just screen time—it was meaningful time together. I loved seeing the expressions on their faces as they watched… when I wasn’t busy serving up popcorn and chocolate milk. Yep, I said chocolate milk—don’t judge me!
